Sony revealed, in the near future will introduce a new service for the PlayStation titled Spartacus. The concept offered is similar to its rival, the Xbox Game Pass.
Later, they combined the two current offerings, namely PlayStation Now and PlayStation Plus. Inside, it can have several levels, ranging from offering modern games to classics in the PlayStation 1 or 2 era.
"This is called a three -tier service, which will combine PlayStation Now with PlayStation Plus. The highest tier can include PS1/PS2/PSP games," Jason Schreier, Bloomberg Journalist, was quoted as saying by us on social media, Tuesday (29/3/2022) .
According to reports, the new service will launch in the spring. It's just that, despite combining the two, Sony still maintained the PlayStation Plus brand and discontinued PlayStation Now.
In it, fans will be presented with three levels. One offers PlayStation Plus facilities, then the second includes a catalog of PS4 and PS5 games. Then third, it has an extended demo, streaming and library of classic PS1, PS2, PS3 and PSP titles.
From the information circulating, when it is later launched, Spartacus will feature the most popular new games. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to include their most recent first person, God of War: Ragnarok.
Meanwhile, Sony has not disclosed the subscription fee for Spartacus. But if you look at the previous two services, PlayStation Now and PlayStation Plus themselves, each cost USD 60 per year.
So when combined, the total becomes USD 120 per year. It's just, it still can't be sure and enough to be a reference.
The number is approximately similar to that offered by the standard version of Game Pass, almost USD 10 or per month. But a little cheaper than the Ultimate Game Pass, which costs USD 14.9 per month.
