MotoGP riders have completed the free practice session of the Pertamina Grand Prix of Indonesia. They also expressed their feelings after bulldozing the Pertamina Mandalika International Street Circuit, West Nusa Tenggara.
During the first free practice session (F1) Pol Espargaro from the Repsol Honda team was the fastest with a time of 1 minute 33.499 seconds.
While in the second free practice session (F2), Monster Yamaha racer, Fabio Quartararo, became the fastest MotoGP Mandalika 2022 with a time of 1 minute 31.608 seconds.
This race is even more special because the circuit is a new track. The last MotoGP event was held 25 years ago and was held at the Sentul Circuit.
The previous drivers were acquainted with the circuit which has a track length of 4.3 km during pre-season last month. Now they will compete quickly to become the champion of the inaugural MotoGP edition at the Mandalika Circuit.
Marc Marquez who crashed in the second practice session revealed he was not seriously injured and will work even harder to conquer this circuit.

Alex Espargaro, who often appears hilarious in Mandalika, is ready to throw his helmet into the stands during the race on Sunday (20/3). This is a votive for Espargaro who will give his helmet after the Instagram account @aleixespargaro reaches 1 million followers.
