Realme is ready to launch a new tablet and laptop this year

Realme has just launched a series of gadgets at the Mobile World Congress 2022 event, including the Realme GT 2 series laptop and the Realme Book Prime. But this Chinese vendor has prepared many surprises that will be released throughout 2022.

Vice President of Realme & President of Realme International Business Group Madhav Sheth said that currently Realme is carrying a '1 + 5 + T' ecosystem strategy consisting of mobile phones, audio, wearables, laptops, TVs and tablets.

Of the six products above, only the Realme tablet has not yet entered the market, even though they have launched the Realme Pad in India. But Madhav said Realme has prepared two new tablets that will be launched this year.

"There will be a line of tablets from Realme. We have already launched a tablet that is about 11 inches or 12 inches in size," Madhav said in an interview with us ahead of Mobile World Congress 2022.

"We will also launch a 5G tablet and launch an entry-level tablet measuring 8 inches. So we will launch a complete line of tablets and laptops this year," he continued.

The identity of one of the products that Madhav mentioned, namely the entry level 8-inch laptop, has begun to be known. The specifications of the tablet, which seems to be launched under the name Realme Pad Mini, have been leaked by tipster @OnLeaks.

Not only that, the Realme booth at MWC 2022 also saw a gray tablet with a screen measuring about 8 inches which resembles the rendering shared by @OnLeaks. Because it has started to appear, it looks like this new Realme tablet will be released soon.

Madhav himself did not give a teaser about other features that will be brought by these two tablets or the launch date. It only says this product will be revealed in the second half of 2022.

As for laptop products, Realme has just launched the Realme Book Prime which brings a slight improvement compared to the Realme Book which is their first laptop. This laptop comes with an Intel Core i5-11320H processor, a new cooling system, Windows 11, and a new color choice, Real Green.

Madhav did not give any leaks about the real successor of the Realme Book. He said that currently Realme still has to study consumer needs because they are still relatively new players in the laptop market.

"What is certain is that we will launch several more products (laptops) in the second half in Southeast Asia," concluded Madhav.
