Rumors of Samsung to Launch 3 Foldable Smartphones in 2022

As one of the pioneers of folding screen phones, Samsung has launched two foldable series, namely the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3. But the latest rumors say Samsung will release a third foldable line this year.

This rumor comes from the Galaxy Club website. Their report says that apart from the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4, Samsung will be releasing a third foldable phone.

The presence of this new line of folding screen phones from Samsung is indicated by the three codes found by the Galaxy Club, namely B4, Q4, and N4. B4 and Q4 are known to be codes for the Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Galaxy Z Fold 4, as quoted from SamMobile, Thursday (24/3/2022).

This conclusion is drawn because the Galaxy Z Flip 3 and Galaxy Z Fold 3 use the internal code B3 and Q3. Well, this mysterious device with the code N4 is suspected to be a new folding screen phone from Samsung.

But at the moment there is not much information regarding the mysterious N4 device. This could be a code for a new wearable device, but there is also a possibility that this is a code for a new foldable phone.

Still, the idea of a new line of foldable phones from Samsung isn't too far-fetched. Lately, the South Korean tech giant has displayed various prototypes of folding screen phones and roll screens.

For example, at CES 2022 at the beginning of last year, Samsung showcased several concepts of folding screen devices and roll screens. There's the Flex S which folds like an 'S', the Flex G which has two hinges and three screens, and the Flex Note which looks like a folding laptop.

Samsung has also patented several folding screen phone concepts with unique and radical designs. Like the recently revealed patent, which shows a folding screen phone that when unfolded forms the letter 'P'.

However, without official confirmation from Samsung these are all just rumors. The Galaxy Club also says Samsung won't be producing this mysterious device in large numbers, so it's likely not going to be as widely released as the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4.
