Russia's List of Countries That Are Unfriendly, There's the US and South Korea!


The Russian government has released a list of hostile countries. Namely those who carry out unpleasant acts against Russia, whether it be companies or citizens.


Launching from Newsweek (8/3), the list of countries was released on Monday (7/3) local time, precisely the 12th day of the Russian invasion of Ukraine.


TASS News Agency in its report said that the list had been approved by the government of the Russian Federation.


List of Countries Not Friendly to Russia

"Australia, Albania, Andorra, UK, including Jersey, Anguilla, British Virgin Islands, Gibraltar, EU member states, Iceland, Canada, Liechtenstein, Micronesia, Monaco, New Zealand, Norway, Republic of Korea (South Korea), San Marino, North Macedonia, Singapore, United States of America, Taiwan, Ukraine, Montenegro, Switzerland, Japan," the decree said.


In the report, the reason why these countries and regions are on the list is because they have applied to impose sanctions on Russia, due to the start of Russia's military operation in Ukraine, Beauties.


How are business transactions involving these countries?

Business transactions in Russia involving that country will require special permission from the government. That is, it must be approved by the Foreign Investment Control Commission, which was set up by the Kremlin in 2008 to monitor foreign investors in strategic sectors.


In addition, it also emphasized that those who have obligations to pay foreign exchange to foreign creditors from hostile countries will be able to pay them in Ruble, the Russian currency.


This provisional provision applies to payments exceeding 10 million Ruble per month or the same amount in foreign currency.
