The impact of the 'attack' carried out by Russia on Ukraine, made a number of leaders around the world react. Some condemned, some abstained --- not voting.
But it seems, the world's richest man, Elon Musk, who is known to make fun of his fellow conglomerates, is taking a more 'bold' step. Namely challenging Russian President Vladimir Putin to a one-on-one war on his Twitter account, with Ukraine at stake.
"I hereby challenge Vladimir Putin to single combat. The stakes are Ukraine," Musk tweeted early Monday, with Putin's and Ukraine's names written in Cyrillic.
Not to forget, the founder, CEO, and Chief Engineer at the US space transportation company, SpaceX, tagged Putin's official account and wrote in Russian: "Do you agree?"
Get Response from Russia
Although there was no immediate reaction from the Kremlin, Dmitry Rogozin, Director of the Space Program at Roscosmos, the Russian space agency, responded by calling Elon a 'weak' and a 'little devil'.
Rogozin also included the Russian poem The Tale of the Priest and of His Workman Ballad. Citing the South China Morning Post page, it tells the story of a lazy priest who hires cheap paid workers before the worker makes the priest go 'crazy'.
Praised by Several Ukrainian Leaders
Elon Musk's tweet was praised by several leaders in Ukraine, including Vitali Klischko, a mayor of Kyiv, Ukraine as well as a Hall of Fame boxer.
"I believe Elon Musk can send Putin to Jupiter," said Ukrainian deputy prime minister Mykhailo Fedorov.
Not only Rogozin, on Wednesday (16/3) Musk also revealed that another party responded, namely Ramzan Kadyrov, the head of the pro-Putin Chechen Republic.
Musk shared a Telegram chat that told Musk to 'pump up his muscles' to change from a gentle Elona (sissy), to a brutal Elon.
Musk also responded to Kadyrov with an 'Elona' tweet. This also seems to be the reason he changed his Twitter name.
"Thanks for the offer but amazing training like that would give me too much advantage. If (Putin) is afraid to fight, I agree to use only my left hand and even I'm right-handed. Elona," Musk tweeted.
