Bill Gates' widow, Melinda French, has spoken out about her divorce. He admitted that he was confused as people in general and shared the process of staying strong in life.
He said in an interview with USA Today that everyone has had their lowest moments in life, and so did he. He also said that the lowest period in his life was when he broke his marriage ties with the founder of Microsoft.
Melinda added that her divorce was actually an unexpected thing. Because of that, he was devastated and decided to look for people who could accompany him wholeheartedly.
"I'm surrounded by people who have good grades and are like-minded people. A group of people who can keep me honest and allow me to call in tears to talk or ask 'Can we meet?'" says Melinda French. .

Furthermore, Melinda said that her friends were always there in times of joy and sorrow. He also treats his friends like that.
"Without those people around me, my friends and some of my colleagues, I don't know how I would have gotten through the tough days, especially in the last few years," Melinda said.
Bill and Melinda decided to divorce after 27 years of marriage. They announced their separation in May 2021 and their divorce was legalized in August 2021. Bill Gates and Melinda French were blessed with three children namely Jennifer Gates, Rory Gates, and Phoebe Gates.
