Twitter Prepares Its Own Podcast Service, What's It Like?

Twitter is reportedly working on a Podcasts feature for its mobile app. This feature was revealed by developer Jane Manchun Wong through a tweet on her Twitter which often shares new features on social media including Twitter.

In his tweet, he revealed the interface of the feature where there is a Podcasts tab at the bottom of the Twitter mobile application, this tab is parallel to other tabs, such as Timeline, Search, Direct Messages, and Notifications.

Interestingly in the screenshot there is no Spaces tab and instead, there is a Podcasts tab as reported by us from Engadget.

Twitter has not yet provided any response or confirmation regarding the news of this Podcast service. Moreover, this feature is still in the development stage so there is still a chance that Twitter will not even launch it.

Twitter itself actually already has the Spaces feature, a service similar to Podcasts, but what sets it apart is that the chat in the Spaces feature is done live or directly.

Of course, this service is different from podcasts, which can be pre-recorded and can be listened to by many people and don't have to worry about missing out. Podcast content is currently popular among all circles, so it is not surprising that social media platforms intend to launch a Podcast content service.
