WhatsApp is finally ready to launch the multi-device feature that many WhatsApp users have been waiting for on both Android and iOS.
As of now, the feature is only available to users involved in the beta testing program of WhatsApp.
But according to a report from WABetaInfo, WhatsApp will roll out the update to iOS users this month and Android devices next month.
Please note, the multi-device feature will remove the online connection requirement from the smartphone so that WhatsApp can be used on multiple devices.

Users must have a stable internet connection to be able to use WhatsApp on other devices such as desktops or laptops. In other words, in order to be connected it must be linked to a smartphone for the chat to sync.
This feature allows up to four devices to be connected and one of the devices to be disconnected if inactive for 14 days.
WhatsApp says paired devices or paired secondary devices can't see live location, sending messages with link previews from WhatsApp Web. And for WhatsApp users on iPhone can't delete chats on linked devices.
Meanwhile, WhatsApp is also rolling out the React message feature for some Android users via the beta app. This feature will work in the same way as most other platforms.
By long pressing on a message, the Reaction option will appear above the message in question and the user can choose from the various emoji reactions provided.
Currently, there are six reactions to choose from in the beta version including thumbs, hearts, laughing emoji, tears, surprise and thank you.
