Who wants it? NASA Gives 'Free Tickets to the Moon'

Ever dreamed of going into space and seeing the Moon up close? Well, the United States Space Agency (NASA) offers a golden opportunity for you, Earthlings.

It's not inviting your body, but just a name. Later that name will join the first journey around the Moon.

This NASA invitation is addressed to anyone who wishes to send their name. The names will be collected by NASA in the form of a flash drive, then carried on the Artemis I mission, an unmanned mission.

The flash drive is placed in the Orion space capsule to fly to Earth's natural satellite. The plan is to fly the Artemis I mission as far as 280 thousand miles from the Kennedy Space Center, Florida, USA, to the Moon by the end of this year.

For those who are interested, NASA will give you a 'free ticket to the Moon', as quoted from Mashable, Sunday (6/3/2022).

To get the ticket, you just need to visit the NASA website at this link. Then, fill in your first name, last name, and a pin code of four to seven digits. When done, click 'submit'.

NASA ensures that registration for this 'ticket to the Moon' is completely free of charge. In addition to getting a virtual boarding pass, participants will also receive a QR code as virtual guest access during the NASA launch.

NASA says the mission is a test of their space exploration capabilities as a commitment and ability to extend human existence to the Moon and beyond.

The program to send names in space missions is not the first time NASA has done this. Previously, Uncle Sam's state space agency had done this in 2017, bringing human names to Mars.

For those who have registered, NASA provides tickets such as virtual boarding passes that look like a ticket for air transportation travel.

How about you, are you interested in getting tickets to the Moon right now?
