The holy month of Ramadan is a month full of blessings and glory. In this month of Ramadan, Muslims around the world are vying to seek the reward as much as possible. Therefore, it is recommended to perform deeds that can be rewarded by Allah SWT.

Did you know that there are practices in the month of Ramadan such as Rasulullah SAW that should be imitated? Here are 5 practices in the month of Ramadan such as Rasulullah SAW, let's see!

Speeding up Breaking Time

When the Maghrib call resounds and the time for breaking the fast has arrived, you should immediately cancel the fast and not procrastinate. This is one of the practices in the month of Ramadan according to the sunnah of the Prophet SAW.

Then, Rasulullah SAW also suggested breaking the fast with dates and white water. This is as the words of the Prophet SAW:

"If one fasts, he should break his fast with dates. If there are no dates, then with water. Because, water purifies," (HR Abu Dawud).

Performing Suhoor

Not only provides energy for daily activities, Suhoor is also a sunnah in the month of Ramadan. Even if you feel sleepy, try to always have sahur!

Rasulullah SAW also said that there are many blessings in Suhoor.

"Eat Suhoor, indeed in Suhoor there is a blessing." (Narrated by Al-Bukhari and Muslim)

Feeding Others to Break the Fast

In this month of Ramadan, Muslims are encouraged to do good. One example is by giving or providing food to people who break their fast.

As stated by the Prophet SAW in the following hadith:

If any man be wise in his own conceit, then he that is in the midst of the saints shall not be sanctified.

Meaning: "Whoever gives food for breaking the fast for a person who is fasting then he will get the reward as the person, without reducing the slightest reward of that person," (HR At Tirmidhi, Ahmad, An Nasai, Al Baihaqi).

Many Pray and Read the Qur'an

You may have heard the statement that a person who fasts his prayers are not rejected. Therefore, it is recommended to pray a lot of good prayers in the month of Ramadan.

In the hadith authenticated by Imam Al Baihaqi, it is mentioned that the Prophet SAW once said that a person who fasts his prayers will not be rejected.

Do not try to persuade them until they have finished their work and have done the work of the hands of the people.

Meaning: "There are three people whose prayers will not be rejected: (1) the prayer of the person who fasts until he breaks his fast, (2) the just leader, and (3) the prayer of the persecuted," (HR At Tirmidhi and Ibn Hibban).

In addition, read the holy book Al Quran a lot during the month of Ramadan. The more often you finish the Qur'an, the more rewards of goodness and reward will be obtained.

Oral Care

Fasting is not only abstaining from eating and drinking, but also guarding one's passions and words or speech. Words can hurt others, whether you realize it or not.

By keeping the word, you will prevent the onset of sin. Poor words can actually reduce the reward of fasting. Therefore, say good and useful things. If there is nothing good that can be thrown, then it is better to remain silent.
