Apple and Google Bosses Say Happy Fasting


 Apple CEO Tim Cook and CEO of Alphabet - Google's parent - Sundar Pichai compactly wished you a happy fasting through their Twitter accounts.

They both say Ramadan Mubarak, which is Arabic and more or less means Ramadan Blessings or blessed Ramadan.


"Ramadan Mubarak for those who carry out worship with family, friends and community. Wishing you peace and happiness at the start of this Holy Month," Cook tweeted.




About an hour after Cook tweeted the congratulatory fast, it was Pichai's turn to congratulate him. "Ramadan Mubarak! Wishing a peaceful Ramadan to all those who live it around the world," tweeted the man from India.



Pichai also includes a link to a Google page related to Ramadan, which when clicked will display information about the start and end times of Ramadan 2022.


Cook's tweets were replied to 216 times, retweeted 1,770 times, and liked 9,707 times. Meanwhile, Pichai's tweet was replied to 134 times, retweeted 237 times, and liked 2,399 times.

The results of the isbat trial held Friday (1/4) to determine the start of fasting agreed that 1 Ramadan 1443 H falls on Sunday, April 3, 2022.


Meanwhile, previously the religious organization Muhammadiyah had previously set the start of fasting in 2022 to be on Saturday 2 April 2022. Among the many tweets that circulated shortly after the results of the isbat session were announced were "Hilal" and congratulations on fasting for the next month.
