There are a number of new ROG products that have just been released by Asus on the market, one of which is the ROG Flow Z13, which is a gaming tablet with a premium price.
In addition to the Flow Z13, there are also ROG Strix SCAR Series, ROG Zephyrus M16, all of which use the 12th generation Intel Core H series processors. This is a generation of processors equipped with Performance Core (P Core) and Efficient Core (E-core).
"Not only comes with the latest specifications, the entire product line of ROG gaming laptops introduced this time is also equipped with the latest technological innovations specifically for gamers. The best gaming experience is only at ROG," said Jimmy Lin, Asus Regional Director Southeast Asia, in information received by us, Wednesday (13/4/2022).
ROG Flow Z13
Unlike all previously introduced laptops, the ROG Flow Z13 is a gaming tablet that according to Asus is the most powerful in the world. This claim is based on the use of a 12th generation Intel Core processor, the highest option in this device is the Core i9-12900H, with 14 cores and 20 threads.
This processor is paired with the latest Nvidia GPU, though not the fastest. In fact, it's arguably one of the lowest in the RTX 30 series, namely the RTX 3050 and RTX 3050 Ti.
There are two screen options on the ROG Flow Z13, namely a 4K 60Hz screen and a 120Hz FHD screen. Both have a screen ratio of 16:10, have a Dolby Vision label, Adaptive-Sync, and are coated with Corning Gorilla Glass.
At first glance the shape of the Flow Z13 is similar to the Microsoft Surface line of convertible tablets, complete with a removable keyboard cover. For higher performance, Asus also provides ROG XG Mobile for purchase.
Both the Flow Z13 and its predecessor, the Flow X13 are compatible with the 2021 and second generation XG Mobile. Whether it's with Nvidia or Radeon GPUs. Here is the Flow Z13 from various variants:
