Be careful, these 3 diseases are most vulnerable to occur while fasting!

It doesn't feel like it's been more than a week that we have been fasting for Ramadan. Actually, by fasting, we also indirectly control the digestive cycle which can bring good benefits to the body such as lowering cholesterol levels, lowering blood sugar pressure, and maintaining endurance.

However, not a few people are also susceptible to disease when fasting. Like these 3 types of disease, the most common are due to improper diet.

1. Stomach

Ulcer is the most common disease that occurs when fasting. Heartburn is a condition of indigestion or irritation that occurs in the stomach, including all complaints such as flatulence, full stomach, to a burning feeling in the upper abdomen, which will recur due to irregular eating patterns.

Ulcers can easily occur when fasting, if we do not maintain and pay attention to diet properly. To prevent this, avoid eating spicy food and coconut milk at suhoor and iftar!

2. Headache

Headaches or dizziness is a natural thing to happen when fasting. The causes are various, such as lack of Vitamin B1, Vitamin B^, Vitamin B12, and Neurotrophic Vitamins which the body usually gets from food.

In addition, changes in eating patterns when fasting can also lower blood pressure, triggering headaches. Therefore, apart from food you can also take supplements to maintain nutritional intake in the body during the fasting month.

3. Thrush and Heat In

When fasting the body becomes dehydrated or lacks fluids. This can be seen from changes in skin and lips that become drier. In addition, canker sores and heartburn can also be signs of severe dehydration, because they are not only caused by lack of fluids, you know!

How come? When fasting there is a change in the balance of microflora in the mouth due to changes in carbohydrate consumption that cause canker sores. Meanwhile, internal heat occurs due to the development of certain bacteria which are usually characterized by a strong breath odor.
