Earth Threatened 'Apocalypse', Scientist Massive Demo!

Scientists speak not carelessly, they must include various data and research so that their words can be validated. However, many scientists feel that sometimes their voices are not heard by the government and society. Especially in this critical condition -- Earth is on the verge of collapse -- they have to roll up their sleeves and hit the streets!

One of the demonstrations of scientists last week in Los Angeles was colored with a sad voice. Peter Kalmus, a NASA scientist who was present, also gave an emotional narration.

"We are going to lose everything, and we are not joking, we are not lying, we are not exaggerating," he said.

With tears in her eyes, Kalmus continued his sentence.

"This is for all the children in the world, for all the young people, for the people of the future. This is not just for us," Kalmus said.

The day after the protests, Dr Kalmus tweeted that he was arrested for blocking the entrance to the JP Morgan Chase building in Los Angeles as part of a scientist demonstration. He alleges that Chase is funding more new fossil fuel projects than any other bank, leading humanity to climate destruction.

"We chose JP Morgan Chase because of all the investment banks in the world, JP Morgan Chase finances the most new fossil fuel projects. As the new IPCC report explains, emissions from current and planned fossil energy infrastructure have more than doubled an amount that would push the planet over 1.5°C of global warming, a rate of warming that would bring more heat, fire, storms, floods and droughts than the current 1.2°C," wrote Dr Kalmus in an article in The Guardians.

As a form of support, netizens also voiced the hashtag #lettheearthbreath on Twitter.
