Elon Musk is alleged to have provided $500,000 in aid to Amber Heard. This is related to the promise of the cast of this Aquaman film, to donate USD 7 million to the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU).
This was revealed directly by Terrence Dougherty, Chief Operating Officer (COO) and General Counsel of ACLU, that he believed some of the donations were from his ex-girlfriend who is the boss of Tesla. This was revealed, in the trial between Johnny Depp and Amber Heard.
Where it is known, of the total money promised, as much as USD 3.5 million, will later be handed over to the ACLU. Then the rest was given to the Children's Hospital in Los Angeles, as quoted by us from the Daily Mail, Saturday (30/4/2022).
Meanwhile, the amount he has donated has only touched USD 1.3 million. Even so, Heard's own contribution was only USD 350 thousand.
Then the nominal value of USD 100 thousand comes from Depp, USD 350 thousand through investment funds. Finally, the remaining $500,000 came from the account of investment firm Vanguard, which is believed to belong to Musk.
"If you ask specifically about the [donation] we received, the $500,000 contribution, we believe it was a donation that came from Elon Musk," Dougherty said in court testimony.
That much donation, Heard had promised, in the settlement of her divorce from her ex-husband, who was a player in the popular film Pirates of the Caribbean. Meanwhile, his lawyer said that his client would fully pay the money.
However, according to him, currently he needs funds to pay legal fees. The court also received information that Heard last paid in December 2018 and after that he never gave money again.
