Entering the Middle of Fasting, Here's How to Maintain the Spirit of Fasting So It's Not Easy to Loose!

The moment of Ramadan is the moment that Muslims look forward to, because the month of Ramadan is only once a month in a year. In this month of Ramadan you need to prepare various needs to fast with burning enthusiasm.

But it's not impossible that the spirit that was initially passionate, slowly begins to recede and makes you feel less solemn in fasting. Don't feel compelled to fast just to pay off your obligations.

For those of you who feel that their fasting spirit is starting to slack, there are some tips that can motivate you to keep the spirit of fasting until the end. This is a row of ways to maintain the spirit of fasting so that it doesn't get loose easily. Come on!

1. Take care of your Suhoor intake

You, don't miss sahur, because sahur plays an important role in the smooth running of fasting activities all day. It is important to maintain your sahur intake with nutrient-rich and filling foods so that you don't feel sluggish during the day.

Avoid foods that are not good for your body such as high-fat, high-sugar, spicy and high-salt foods. One or two slices of cake is okay, but too much can increase blood sugar and make the body run out of energy quickly. So, choose foods high in fiber and don't forget to drink enough water.

2. Avoid things that reduce the reward of fasting, fill it with useful activities

To perform worship optimally, you need to avoid things that reduce or even break your fast. Gossiping, speaking dirty, and getting angry are things that can reduce the reward of fasting.

Fill your Ramadan with useful activities such as completing the Al-Quran, Itikaf at the mosque, and sharing with people in need. You can also take part in social activities to make your fasting more meaningful.

3. Do not overdo it when breaking fast

Approaching the time of breaking the fast, I want you to buy a lot of food and want to take revenge by eating all the food that is served later, even though you are just hungry. So, when breaking the fast later, make sure to eat slowly and start with small portions.

Start by drinking water and dates, only then do you eat heavy meals with reasonable portions.

4. Breaking the fast with friends

Breaking the fast with friends can be something that adds to the spirit of fasting as well as strengthens friendship. Thinking about meeting friends feels good because you can let go of longing, but don't make it a place to show off.

5. Reward Yourself

There is nothing wrong with planning to reward yourself after fasting for a whole month. You can reward yourself by buying the things you want or taking a trip somewhere. This can trigger your enthusiasm for fasting because there is a gift waiting for you.

Make fasting a field of reward and fulfill the obligation to fast for a whole month with sincerity and joy. I hope you continue to be enthusiastic about fasting.
