New Apple Watch Will Have a Blood Pressure Monitoring Feature

Users' hopes of getting a blood pressure sensor on the latest generation of Apple Watch seem to have not materialized this year.

This is presumably due to an inaccurate accuracy issue and Apple is still refining the sensor to meet high standards.

Reported by us from Gizmochina, Thursday (14/4/2022) a recent report from Bloomberg said that the blood pressure monitoring feature is likely to be present on the Apple Watch in 2024.

As per a Bloomberg report, the blood pressure monitoring feature is being tested by Apple but the results have not lived up to expectations and are not accurate enough.

And also that the sensor hasn't produced any specific measurements, but rather triggers a notification to see a doctor about hypertension.

This feature does not yet provide actual Systolic and Diastolic readings which is a critical component in today's smart devices that produce blood pressure readings.

Several brands have incorporated blood pressure sensors into their smartwatches with great effect.

Apple hopes to overcome the current challenges of adding features to the Apple Watch. This will definitely raise the device's lifesaving credentials a few notches higher.
