Russia is furious with its helicopters with advanced British weapons

A viral video shows the Russian Mi-28N helicopter being split in two and crashing after being shot by a Starstreak missile in the Luhanks area. The Starstreak missile is Britain's latest aid to Ukraine.

Of course the Russian side did not accept. Moreover, Britain has sent thousands of lethal weapons to Ukraine which hinders Russia.

Starstreak itself is made by British company, Thales Air Defense. Also known as Starstreak HVM (High Velocity Missile), this missile accelerates to over Mach4 once fired, making it the world's fastest short-range surface-to-air missile.

Laser-guided, Starstreak can aim at targets with precision and hard to anticipate. This weapon is designed for close air defense. It can be fired from a surface launcher to shoot fighter jets or helicopters up to a distance of 7 kilometers.

In an interview with Russia's TASS news agency, Russia's Ambassador to the UK Andrey Kelin warned that if British weapons continued to be supplied to Ukraine, they would become a legitimate target for Russia.

"All the weapons supplied are destabilizing, especially the ones mentioned by the British Secretary of Defense, Ben Wallace," he said, as quoted by us from Eurasiantimes.

"They exacerbate the situation, make it even more bloody. Apparently, the weapon is high-precision and new. Naturally, our armed forces would see it as a legitimate target if the supplies entered the Ukrainian border," he added.

Ben Wallace himself previously said western countries had agreed to provide Ukraine with more long-range artillery and tactical vehicles, including missiles. He said the weapons were needed to deal with Russian bombardments in cities like Mariupol.
