Starting Sahur by Drinking Coffee, What's the Impact?

Drinking coffee for some people is a 'must' before starting their activities.

But because they are fasting, their preference for coffee has been moved.

So, did you include the habit of drinking coffee at dawn? Or have you ever started sahur by drinking coffee?

Be careful, drinking coffee at dawn, can potentially have a diuresis effect and cause dehydration. If you don't really need to drink coffee, then there's no need to drink coffee at dawn.

The diuretic effect itself is an increase in urine production. This means that it can stimulate you to urinate more often. Therefore, it is feared that you will actually be dehydrated throughout the day.

Even so, there is no need to be discouraged. Because in the matter of consuming coffee, instead of at dawn, it is recommended when it is time to break the fast.

However, make sure you don't immediately start drinking coffee, aka on an empty stomach. Quoted from the Insider page, there is a risk of increasing stomach acid production. It can also cause indigestion and a burning feeling in the chest (heartbun).
