Tips for working in the fasting month so you don't have to work overtime

 


Overtime in the fasting month sounds really tiring. So that there is no need for overtime, what should be done?


The overtime policy really depends on each office. But it feels like something is missing if you continue to break your fast at the office because you can't go home when it's time to break your fast.


Well, if you feel that way, maybe there is a pattern that must be changed. Check out these tips for better time management in the month of fasting so you no longer need to work overtime and come home late at night.


1. Meal preparation

A friend told me that he who rarely cooks tried to cook sahur on the first day of fasting. The result is going to the office late, tired all day, and so can't exercise in the afternoon. :))))


Meal preparation is very important in the month of fasting because if everything is fast, you can still eat when you wake up at dawn. The time is better spent sleeping than cooking, right? Ha ha ha.


Make sure you have prepared the basic spices first or even cooked them beforehand so that at dawn, you just have to warm them up. Do not let sleep time wasted because of cooking.


2. Eat healthy and take vitamins

However, because in the afternoon we have to work, eat suhoor and break the fast of course we still have to be healthy. Make sure the nutrition is met so that you don't go through a full day of weakness.


The effect is great, you know, weakness makes you not focus and the work takes longer to complete. If you feel the need, take vitamins at dawn to maintain endurance.


3. Take a break

Yes, even if you don't eat lunch, rest like we have lunch. For me, I joined the pantry with other friends who weren't fasting.


Forcing yourself to work continuously looking at the laptop without taking a break makes the body feel weaker and reduces concentration. It is more effective to work after a break than to work continuously.


4. Set bedtime

This is the key. Sleepiness is the toughest problem during the fasting month, right? Sleeping while working certainly will not be optimal.


If you usually sleep above 10 o'clock, now try at 8 o'clock to get ready for bed. Thus, after sahur does not sleep anymore, coming to the office will be in a fresh condition because we have had enough sleep all night.


5. Come to the office early

If we sleep enough, we should be able to come to the office earlier and start work earlier. Going home can wait and break the fast at home with family.
