Valorant is updated to Patch 4.08, there's a new agent you know

 


Valorant has received the latest patch, namely Patch 4.08 or better known as Episode 4 Act 3. What's new?

This update provides some new content, game balancing, and the most anticipated, the presence of a new agent. One of them is that Jett gets a balancing game in the form of nerf from his abilities. There are also additions in the form of skins, battle passes and other cosmetic items that can be enjoyed starting from this episode.


"This nerf is absolutely necessary because at this point Jett can use Dash's abilities to escape from critical situations that other agents would not be able to do," explained Alexander Mistakidis, Agent Designer at Riot Games, in a statement received by us.



Well, after this update, when we press the button to activate the ability, after a short delay, Jett will enter a 12 second window where he has the opportunity to Dash the next time.


His Tailwind charge will disappear if he Dashes or when the 12 seconds have run out. But he was able to get it again after killing two opposing players.


Then there will be a new agent who has often been the subject of discussion. The new agent is Fade, who is from Turkey. His advantage is that he can interfere with the way his opponents play.


The presence of Fade was confirmed by Riot Games as the initiator in the State of Agents blog in March 2022. Fade's unique ability is also said to cause a tense feeling when hunting down his opponents.


By the time patch 4.07 was applied, several story elements were added to Shooting Range, including a voice recording as well as a prison room in the basement near the Brimstone office. Unfortunately, an incident occurred when we entered the room and in the end we couldn't see clearly what was going on there.


Fade has the codename Bounty Hunter and as previously mentioned, Fade is an agent with the role of an initiator like Skye, Sova, and Breach. This means, in the game, this agent will be a character whose job is to hunt down and lure his opponents to come out of their hiding places. Of course this will be the start of an exciting battle.


The following are Fade's mainstay abilities:


Prowler

Fade can send a creature that will walk in a straight line looking for opposing players or their tracks. When it finds it, the creature will go to the opponent to then fire Nearsight which will be active for 3 seconds.

Seize

Seize is a sphere that can be thrown. When it hits the ground, it will become a 7 meter diameter hole that will hold the opponent for 5 seconds. All trapped enemies will be deaf and receive 75 damage decay.

Haunt

Reportedly, this is the ability that characterizes Fade. He will throw a sphere that will become an eye / camera that can be destroyed. If this eye sees an opponent, it will reveal their position and activate the Trail debuff which will last for 12 seconds. This debuff allows us to see which way the opponent is going.

Nightfall

Nightfall is the ultimate ability of Fade. It will send out a black mist and enemies hit by this fog will trail, be deaf and get decay damage for 12 seconds.
