What's in Area 51 which is predicted to be the headquarters of aliens

Located on Groom Lake in the middle of a barren desert in southern Nevada, Area 51 is the area most frequently suspected of alien conspiracy theorists. In fact, Area 51 is a US Air Force installation, but is best known for its speculative connections to unidentified flying objects (UFOs).

Conspiracy theorists surrounding the base believe that this area is used for testing alien technology recovered from an 'alien crash site' on Earth -- much like the famous Roswell, New Mexico. As a result, this military installation information is becoming more and more sought after by netizens.

But really, what is inside Area 51? Launching Space, here's a mysterious explanation of Area 51 that we quoted from various sources:

1. Location Area 51

Area 51 is located 200 kilometers northwest of Las Vegas, near the small towns of Rachel and Hiko. The area was founded in 1955 as part of the Nevada Test and Training Range complex and is also named 'Paradise Ranch'.

Today, the base and compound of the Nevada Test and Training Range are part of the Nevada National Security Site (NNSS), with the CIA referring to it as Groom Lake and Homey Airport. Although satellite imagery of the site has been restricted, from 2018 the base can be seen on Google Maps.

2. Area and contents of Area 51

Benjamin Radford is an American folklorist, writer, investigator and Area 51 skeptic. This person who is actively researching Area 51 has given Space his a number of opinions.

"The base itself is quite small, but the restricted area around it is more than 90,000 acres (36,000 acres) -- partly to prevent reconnaissance and partly because they need to test covert aircraft," Radford said.

"Most conspiracy theorists and the media call it Area 51. To the US government, it's simply the Nevada Test and Training Range, part of Edwards Air Force Base," he continued.

The military classifies Area 51 as a 'Military Operations Area.' Up ahead, there will be sights of signposts and armed guards patrolling the fenced perimeter guarded by motion sensors, cameras and so on. The Area 51 border is not fenced off but is marked with orange posts and warning signs.

The signs notify visitors that photos are not allowed and that violations at the property will result in a fine.

3. Possible explanation of 'UFO' sightings

The testing of new and secret military aircraft is most likely responsible for the UFO sightings. This is also confirmed by Radford who said that sometimes planes and lights look strange or unusual.

"There's no reason to think anything UFO-related is going on (in Area 51)," Radford said.
