Windows 7 Rated Most Innovative and Successful Users

Despite bringing many updates, Windows 11 is not the most innovative operating system. The predicate is even pinned on Windows 7, even users rate it the most successful of the Windows variants that Microsoft has ever released.

This is the result of a small survey conducted by Windows Central to welcome the 30th anniversary of Windows 3.1 recently. They wanted to see which Windows variant users rated as the most innovative and successful.

There were 4,000 people who took the survey. There are as many as 964 votes or 24.86% who consider Windows 7 the most innovative and most successful. The reason is, the operating system is considered to have a beautiful user interface from the Aero Glass design language, which has made Windows 7 immediately gain fame since its launch.

Despite being considered Microsoft's breakthrough version, Windows 8 only ranked 4th in this survey with 512 votes (accounting for about 13.2%). When Windows 8 came out, this operating system was seen by Microsoft as a revolution when it changed the desktop user interface closer to the touch interface of the tablet at that time.

However, Windows 8 is not well received by users because there are too many errors that make it less comfortable to use.

Windows 95 unexpectedly won 2nd place in this survey with 906 votes (23.36%). Next is Windows 10 in 3rd place with 565 votes (14.57%).

The recently released version of Windows 11 only ranked 5th with 443 votes (contributing 11.42%). Although it presents a more beautiful appearance than Windows 11, it seems that users are not overestimating creativity in this latest version of Windows.

According to users, Microsoft still needs more efforts to perfect its new operating system. In your opinion, which version of Windows is the most innovative and popular?
