Apple Chooses LG As Supplier Of iPhone 14 Selfie Camera With Triple The Original Price

 LG Innotek is a company that is supposed to be the supplier of selfie cameras for the iPhone 15. This is different from before, where Apple used supplies from Chinese and Sharp suppliers.

However, due to problems in supplying the iPhone 14 selfie camera, Apple had to speed up production by continuing to order the camera from LG Innotek. This indirectly further increases costs, which are reported to reach three times the normal price.

Among the problems faced was the quality of the camera which did not meet Apple’s requirements, making the production of the camera delayed and time consuming. While LG Innotek is proud to be Apple’s supplier, for the first time representing South Korea - they will still be working with Sharp.

Most of the LG Innotek camera components are also self -manufactured and do not depend on other companies. LG Innotek is also now in the process of accelerating production on a large scale.
