Digital Wellbeing is a built -in tool for Android devices to monitor device usage activity by users. Disciplined users can use Digital Wellbeing to keep themselves healthy, fit and not obsessed with smart devices.
Over the years this feature has been in existence, Google is constantly improving the capabilities of this feature. Instead of controlling device usage before bed, turning the screen to black and white or preventing apps from being accessed is all possible. Recently, Google will dim the background image on the device if using Bedtime Mode on Digital Wellbeing.
It can display 100% bright and decrease up to 0% dark or directly turn off the background image. This feature is offered to keep the user’s eyes from being shocked after stoning watching TikTok, scrolling Twitter and so on - returning to the home screen and a bright background image can make the eyes temporarily sore.
This feature will come with the Digital Wellbeing scheduling function and may also be present in dark mode on the upcoming Android 13. Google I/IO 2022 is almost here, we are all looking forward to it.
