DuckDuckGo Web Browser Is Not As Safe As Expected - Allows Microsoft Tracker

DuckDuckGo is one of the services present by saying they focus on privacy, and do not allow any trackers to track user activity.

In any case, the matter is seen as completely inaccurate. DuckDuckGo is seen blocking trackers from Facebook as well as Google, but allowing trackers from Microsoft to continue running.

This also allows trackers under Microsoft such as LinkedIn and Bing to continue to track and shape the cloud and user browsing data.

The CEO of DuckDuckGo confirmed this, saying they have a partnership with Microsoft for that purpose.

It is said this is only for the DuckDuckGo web browser, while their search engine blocks trackers altogether.

While collaboration like this may be common, but many question why DuckDuckGo is honest and stated it openly to their users before, until it was identified by one of the securities researchers.
