With the TV series The Lord oft he Rings coming to Prime Video, interest in the world of J.R.R Tolkien’s creations is on the rise again. So Electronics Arts has announced the development of The Lord of the Rings: Heroes of Middle-earth which is a first dedicated to mobile devices.
The game is in the CRPG genre where players collect characters that will be used against enemies in the game following the storyline of LoTR and The Hobbit. Important characters can be collected to continue the adventure in the first world. Like the majority of the first on the market, the first of The Lord of the Rings: Heroes of Middle-earth is free but there is an in-game payment system.
The Lord of the Rings: Heroes of Middle-earth will begin Beta testing on a small scale starting next summer but other information has yet to be announced.
