Having been tested before, now Malaysia Airports has officially announced that all passengers from KLIA to Langkawi can use the face scan feature instead of the flight pass.
This step is also expected to make the journey on a flight smoother and easier.
To use it, you first need to check in for a flight, and register at a dedicated counter for facial recognition. Next, you can go through various confirmation counters by simply scanning the face - thus replacing the previous flight pass.
Malaysia Airports said the face scan data would be deleted after 3 hours of a flight passing KLIA.
For those of you who have a flight to Langkawi, can try this new feature in Langkawi and make the process of boarding a flight even easier.
