Two years ago, leading motorcycle brand Harley-Davidson opened a subsidiary focusing on bikes called Serial 1. Recently, the brand has introduced their latest mountain bike called BASH/MTN.
As a hill bike, it comes with some design results that are arguably quite interesting. It comes with a frame made of aluminum metal, but other than that, it is not equipped with the features that are typically seen on such bikes, namely suspension and having only one gear.
In fact, the only shock absorbers can be seen on the seat portion of this bike, which uses an SR Suntour NCX seat post with its ability to be moved around 50mm. The bike also uses Michelin E-Wild tires for a comfortable cycling experience no matter the terrain traversed.
Serial 1 says that the design of this bike is made so deliberately for those who do not want so much reliance on technology and to reduce the points of damage to this bike.
Even so, as an electric bike, this BASH/MTN is still loaded with a 529Wh battery that allows it to be driven as far as 150km and can be ridden at 32KM/H depending on the mode used. A full charge of this bike takes only 5 hours and a charge to 75 percent can be achieved in two and a half hours.
This BASH/MTN bike is already on sale in certain markets such as the United States at a price of $ 3999. Serial 1 says only 1050 of these bikes will be developed, and half of them will be sold in the U.S. market.
