The Huawei Mate Xs 2 launched globally last night. In less than a day, this foldable screen device was launched in Malaysia today at a price of RM7,999 each. With the Xs 2, Huawei is back with a screen design that folds back when wanting to be kept the same as the previous Maye X and Mate Xs.
In terms of specifications, the Mate Xs 2 comes with a 7.8 ″ 120Hz OLED screen in the open position and a 6.5 ″ when folded. It is matched with a Snapdragon 888 4G chip, 8GB of RAM memory, 512GB of storage and a 4800 mAh battery that supports 66W charging. The Mate Xs 2 screen also comes with stylus support.
The 50MP wide -angle main camera is matched with a 13MP ultra -wide -angle sensor and 8MP optical telephoto up to 3X. The 10.7MP selfie camera is placed on the screen hole. This device has a lighter design, and is thinner than other foldable screen devices on the market.
In terms of software it is still using EMUI 12 with it to be updated to HarmonyOS in the near future. A pair of stereo speakers are also provided with an audio lattice placed on the side.
With the improved Falcon Wing design, the screen doesn’t show any noticeable folding effects. However, the Mate Xs 2 does not have any waterproof standards.
Pre -orders for the Huawei Mate Xs 2 are open in Malaysia from June 3 to June 23. Customers who pre -order will receive a Huawei Watch GT2 Pro and many more worth RM1400 for free.
