Huawei P50 Finally Launched In Malaysia At A Price Of RM2999

 


The Huawei P50 was launched in China in July 2021. After almost a year it was finally offered in Malaysia and four months after the Huawei P50 Pro which went on sale last January. No changes to the specifications have been made at P50 for the local market.




It is still equipped with a 6.5 ″ AMOLED screen with QHD+ resolution and 90Hz refresh rate. The screen is flat with a camera hole in the middle. The device is powered by a Snapdragon 888 4G chip, matched with 8GB of RAM memory, storage up to 256GB and a 4100 mAh battery. The battery is wired rechargeable with a 66W charger without wireless or reverse charging.



The main camera is 50MP f/1.8, 12MP telephoto f/3.4 with OIS and 13MP ultra wide angle f/2.2. The focusing system also uses a laser. On the front, the 13MP camera is used again. The included zoom system provides optical zoom up to 5X and digital zoom up to 50X only.



The device has IP68 waterproof capability along with a stereo audio system. The operating system used is HarmonyOS 2. Like the Mate Xs 2, P50 Pro and P50 Pocket before, the device only supports 4G networks at this time.


The Huawei P50 is priced at RM2999 in Malaysia.
