Huawei is unable to offer devices with 5G network technology due to technology restrictions imposed by the United States after it was included in the list of entities. Devices like the P50 Pocket for example only support 4G even though it is equipped with a Snapdragon 888 chip.
In China the issue was resolved with the launch of a special framework for the Huawei P50 Pro that brings 5G support. The framework has a 5G modem chip, a dual core chip, and built -in eSIM support.
The frame adds a thickness of about 3mm and weighs as much as 52g. Finally, Huawei's flagship device can enjoy the 5G sub 6GHz network in China. For those who are interested, the frame is sold at a price of RMB799 (~ RM520) each.
