I am hate heights. If in an airplane I will make sure the selected seat is away from the window. But we realize many out there who aren’t hate heights and like to test their level of courage when given the chance. If you want to walk across the world's longest suspension bridge you can try it yourself in the Czech Republic.
Sky Bridge 721 has opened in the Kralicky SneznÃk mountains. It is 721 meters long with a maximum height of 95 meters. Since opening on May 13, it now holds the record as the world’s longest pedestrian suspension bridge surpassing the 516 -meter record held by the Arouca Bridge in Portugal.
Despite its length, the Sky Bridge is only 1.2 meters wide allowing only one-way travel at a time. As a safety measure only 500 visitors are allowed on the bridge and it will also be closed if the wind blows more than 135 km/h.
Along the way visitors can enjoy the beautiful scenery and follow the history of the surrounding area using a smartphone app. Construction took two years and visitors had to pay 350 Czech Koruna (~ RM65) per person to walk across the bridge.
