Infinix Zero 5G Review: Wow Specs, Friendly Prices

The choice of cellular phones with 5G networks in Indonesia is increasingly diverse. Infinix enlivens the market with the Zero 5G series, a high-end mobile phone with pocket-friendly prices.

The 5G network will enter Indonesia in May 2021. Smartphone devices that can take advantage of network services have emerged. Infinix provides for mobile users who want a large battery capacity, as well as a spacious screen.

We've been testing the Infinix Zero 5G for a few weeks. The following are the results of a review of the new hero of the Chinese mobile phone company.

Infinix buried a large battery in the Infinix Zero 5G. The battery capacity reaches 5,000 mAh. The battery capacity is supported by the fast charging feature which is okay. With an output charger with 33 watts, charging the battery from 0-100 percent only takes about 1.5 hours.

To play intense games, Infinix Zero 5G consumes 10 percent of the battery in one hour duration. We tried it with Critical Strike and FIFA 2021 games.

From the Power Marathon information on the smartphone, the Infinix Zero 5G battery can last 23 hours for normal use, replying to messages, browsing, and doing social media activities. With the ultra power feature, battery consumption can be more efficient.

For daily use, there is a battery boost feature that can maximize battery performance so that it can last a long time. The function of this built-in app is to maximize your phone's settings and limit features and apps that consume a lot of battery.

Performance

Infinix Zero 5G is equipped with 8 GB of RAM, coupled with 128 GB of memory. The chipset used is MediaTek MT6877 Dimensity 900, supported by Octa-core CPU (2x2.4 GHz Cortex-A78 & 6x2.0 GHz Cortex-A55).

The screen uses an IPS LCD, 120Hz, 500 nits (peak). The screen width is 6.78 inches, with a resolution of 1080 x 2460 pixels. With a 'brain' that is quite capable, Infinix Zero 5G has no problem using it to play FIFA 21 and Critical Strike with the highest specifications.

The Android 11 operating system, and with XoS 10 support from Infinix, makes the phone's performance even more optimal.

When used to open multiple applications simultaneously, Infinix Zero 5G also has no problems. The performance of the phone remains at its maximum.

No NFC

The NFC feature is still not embedded in the Infinix Zero 5G. That may be one of the shortcomings of this smartphone. Infinix also hasn't pinned the NFC feature on some of its cheap phones like the Note 11 Pro series.

In addition, the protection on the Infinix Zero 5G screen still doesn't use Gorilla Glass even though the screen is made of glass.

Infinix Zero 5G is equipped with a main camera with 48 mega pixels. For the telephoto lens, the mega pixel is at 13. The selfie camera has 16 megapixels. Video with the main camera is supported with 4K quality with 30 frames per second images.

Infinix Zero 5G is also equipped with a 3.5 mm jack for audio. The security features on the Infinix Zero 5G can use face ID, finger print on the side of the phone body, there are also pattern and pin features.

Our Opinion

Infinix Zero 5G has a pretty satisfying performance. With a price that is quite economical, you have got a smartphone with 'offal' and okay specifications.

Infinix Zero 5G can be an option for smartphones that are supported by the latest internet network.

There are three color choices. Cosmic Black, Skylight Orange, and Horizon Blue which can be borrowed.
