The AirPods Pro 2 is expected to include a number of new smart features, including support for seamless audio playback, in addition to health-related features directly on it. It is also expected to come with a new design and will be launched in the second half of 2022.
In a tweet by Ming-Chi Kuo, he noted that the AirPods Pro 2 is currently in the production phase on a large scale in Vietnam. It is said to be among the largest outside China. The shift in production to Vietnam was due to a better environment and uncomplicated supplier resources.
The AirPods Pro 2 is also said to likely stay with the Lightning port and will not use USB-C. With AirPods Pro now having MagSafe, don’t be surprised if this next generation will also come with the same features.
The WWDC 2022 event will take place on June 6th next, we will probably see something AirPods related at this event. Together we look forward.
