With the launch of the Intel Alder Lake HX processing chip for high -powered laptops, Lenovo also introduced two new series of laptops, namely the Lenovo Legion 7i and also the Lenovo Legion Slim 7i.
Starting with the Lenovo Legion 7i, this laptop comes with a 16 -inch IPS screen display with WQXGA resolution (2560 × 1600) with refresh rate up to 240Hz with a thin -framed screen display design.
Lenovo Legion 7i is equipped with a choice of Intel Core i9-12900HX or Intel Core i7-12800HX CPUs that are combined with 32GB DDR5 4800MHz memory and PCIe4 SSD storage that comes in 512GB, 1TB and 2TB.
In terms of graphics, Lenovo Legion 7i comes with a selection of very powerful graphics cards, including NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Ti or NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Ti which comes with Max-Q technology that allows these components to be loaded in this laptop.
Just like the previous Lenovo Legion laptop design, it comes with a minimalist design, with a frame made of a combination of aluminum and magnesium alloys. The all -black design is brightened with the RGB lighting system that can be seen on the side of this laptop and also the Legion text that is printed on the back of this laptop.
Turning to the Lenovo Legion Slim 7i, this laptop comes with two 16 -inch display options. The first option uses a MiniLED panel with a resolution of 2560 × 1600 with a refresh rate of 165Hz and a brightness value as high as 1250 nit with DisplayHDR 1000 support.
The second display uses an IPS panel with the same size and resolution, but has a refresh rate as high as 240Hz with a brightness value of 500 nit and support DisplayHDR 500.
In terms of component offerings, the Lenovo Legion Slim 7i is powered by three CPU options, including the Intel Core i9-12900HK, Intel Core i7-12700H and Intel Core i5-12500H. It also comes with 16GB of DDR5 memory options and 512GB, 1TB and 2TB PCIe4 SSD storage options.
In terms of graphics card offerings, Lenovo Legion Slim 7i comes with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 graphics cards.
The advantage of this laptop is seen in its thinness, where at the thinnest part, it is only measured at a thickness of 16.9mm. It also weighs around 2KG, making it thin enough to carry anywhere.
Lenovo says that these laptops will arrive in select markets around the end of this May.
