With this collaboration, artists under UMG can use LimeWire for the purpose of selling NFT collections and interacting with their fans.
This is quite surprising and at the same time makes many people excited.
The name LimeWire itself is quite popular for early internet users, where it became a site intended for song downloads. However, it was later terminated after being sued by various parties for copyright infringement.
