Microsoft Places Devices With A 360 -Degree Foldable Screen

The Microsoft Surface Duo is the first smartphone from Microsoft to come with two screens and can be folded. It is already present with two generations, with the latest model being the Surface Duo 2. The device runs the Android operating system in collaboration with Microsoft and Google.

It may not be for everyone, but it is a unique device. The latest patent that Microsoft is registering is a device with a single foldable screen - ultimately in line with competitors who are already marketing devices with a foldable screen.

The device has one screen and can be folded up to 360 degrees. It can be folded in and out. What makes the device different from the Oppo Find N, Samsung Galaxy Z Fold, Xiaomi Mi MIX Fold is that it has no folding effect.

The hinges on this device have a kind of plate to support the screen when opened and folded. This not only allows the screen to be more immersive, but the hinges are also more durable than competitors. For now it’s just a patent and it’s not sure if it will be a design to the next Surface Duo 3.
