The active noise cancellation (ANC) feature just two years ago could only be found on the benchmark class TWS sold at a relatively expensive price. The Redmi Buds 4 and 4 Pro that were just announced a moment ago prove this is not necessarily the case because they are affordable but come with the ANC.
The Redmi Buds 4 is a bluetooth TWS with a 10mm audio driver. The ANC system can cancel out noise up to 35 dB. With a single charge the audio bud can operate for up to 6 hours or up to 30 hours using the charger pod.
The tethering to the device is using bluetooth 5.2. Codec support is SBC and AAC. The audio bud has a touch pad and also passes the IP54 standard.
Meanwhile, the Redmi Buds 4 Pro is a TWS bluetooth with dual audio drivers of 10mm and 6mm. The ANC system can cancel out noise up to 43 dB. With a single charge the audio bud can operate for up to 9 hours or up to 36 hours using the charger pod.
The tethering to the device is using bluetooth 5.3. Codec support is SBC and AAC. The audio bud has a touch pad and also passes the IP54 standard. Because it’s a more premium model, this Buds 4 Pro can support 360 -degree audio.
In China, Redmi Buds 4 is priced at RMB199 (~ RM131) while Redmi Buds 4 pro is priced at RMB369 (~ RM243) per pair.
