The ASUS ROG Flow series of devices is seen as the most unique gaming laptop offering ASUS has to offer right now, as it not only comes with a compact design, but also houses very powerful components.
With the ROG Flow X16, ASUS unveiled a foldable laptop that comes with a large screen display compared to the previous ROG Flow X13 model. This model is equipped with a 16 -inch Mini LED touch screen display with QHD resolution with a refresh rate of 165Hz and has a brightness value as high as 1100 nit and also support DisplayHDR 1000.
Interestingly, this Mini LED display comes with its own particular name, which is the ROG Nebula HDR which signifies that ASUS has worked hard to develop this panel for this laptop, and will probably be shown on other models after this.
In terms of component offerings, the laptop is powered by CPU options up to the AMD Ryzen 9 6900HS as well as the recently launched NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Ti graphics card, promising great performance on modern computer games.
As said before, this ROG Flow X16 laptop comes with a hinge that can be rotated 360 degrees and used in a variety of other ways, in tent and tablet modes as well.
The ROG Flow X16 comes with a new cooling system, namely Frost Force Technology with Pulsar Heatsink and also the use of liquid metal to ensure that heat can flow from the components in this laptop to the outside quickly and efficiently.
It is also equipped with a number of I/O plugs such as USB 3.2 Type-C, USB 3.2 Type-A, HDMI 2.0b and so on to assist in fast data transmission and also allows users to connect this laptop to a second display with resolution with a high refresh rate with no problems.
Just like the previous ASUS ROG Flow models as well, the ROG Flow X16 comes with support for the previously introduced ROG XG Mobile external graphics card accessory, which also comes with a large number of additional I/O plugs.
Just like the ASUS ROG STRIX Scar 17 SE laptop, ASUS Malaysia is expected to be present with the announcement of the launch of this laptop around June.
