For those who follow the development of Sony audio products, you know for sure that LinkBuds is among their new series of audio accessories. LinkBuds' first product is a donut-shaped TWS, which is a TWS with an open-back design concept.
After this product was launched, the LinkBuds S WF-LS900 began to appear. It no longer uses a unique donut design, but returns to using a traditional design. What differentiates the LinkBuds S from other models is, Sony is said to claim it is the smallest and lightest TWS that has active noise cancellation capabilities.
The weight of each earphone is 4.8 grams, which when compared to the Sony WF-1000XM4 which weighs 7.3 grams each. Although small, the battery is said to be once every 20 hours with a charger pod. The audio drive for the LinkBuds S is also 5mm only which can offer good audio quality and nice rumbling bass.
The selling price of the LinkBuds S is said to be in the range of € 199 which is slightly more expensive than the regular LinkBuds which cost € 179.99. The LinkBuds S will support IPX4, Bluetooth 5.2, Adaptive Sound Control, and black, white or beige color options. This means that if LinkdBuds in Malaysia is priced at RM849, this S model may be around RM899 and above.
