The crypto market fell last week which also affected the NFT market. Although many are winding down due to the sharp fall in value, there are still efforts to offer NFT as a digital asset to all. Spotify is currently testing the feature to artists to offer their NFT collections directly through the app.
Support is currently only provided in Android apps in the United States with artists like Steve Aoki displaying their NFTs on Spotifty’s personal profile. Fans who want to own the collection will be taken to the NFT store outside of Spotify. Because this is just a start -up test, Spotify will not take a deduction from NFT sales made by artists. Spotify is just following the latest trend with Instagram having also started testing allowing NFT owners to display their collections last week.
