The AMD Ryzen 7000 Series Of Processing Chips For Laptops Comes With The Code Name Dragon Range And Phoenix

AMD is expected to launch their latest series of processing chips, their AMD Ryzen 7000 for desktop computers in the third quarter of this year, showing support for the latest computing technologies such as DDR5 memory support as well as PCIe5.0.

Soon after, AMD is expected to introduce the AMD Ryzen 7000 processing chip for laptop models. Recently, it was reported that the processing chip will come under the name Dragon Range for gaming and high -performance laptops and Phoenix for thin and light laptops.

Starting with the Dragon Range series of processing chips, it is likely that it will come with a CPU option that will be loaded with up to 16 physical cores as well as a built -in graphics processing chip, which is something new for AMD’s series of high -performance laptop processing chips.

It will also come with a TDP value of around 55W for laptops to be used on desktop surfaces, such as desktop replacement computers as well as powerful gaming laptops and always need to be plugged into a power supply at all times.

For the Phoenix series of processing chips, it will come with options for processing chips that come with a total power consumption of around 35W to 45W and will come with an APU design that combines computing and graphics processing chips in one board.

Both processing chips for these laptops, just like their desktop-class CPUs, are seen to come with support for DDR5 technology as well as built-in PCIe5.0. For now, it looks like these processing chips will only be shown in 2023, just as usual AMD will be showcasing their latest laptop processing chip offerings.
