Twitter today updated their service policy, stating that it will begin limiting the display of Tweets in the form of copies or "copypasta".
Twitter says the move will allow users to find original content publishers, as well as encourage healthy discussions on the social platform.
By limiting a Tweet, it will be less likely to appear on major search results or Trends, and will not algorithmically suggest the Tweet on the user’s timeline.
In any case, the "copypasta" Tweet will remain on the timeline, only access to the Tweet will be restricted.
