ZOTAC was a leading brand of computer component makers, and a few years ago, had introduced the VR GO backpack computer which was a very easy way to use virtual reality headsets at the time.
Recently, during the ongoing COMPUTEX 2022 event, ZOTAC has unveiled the fourth generation of the backpack computer called ZOTAC VR GO 4.0. The computer features an all-new design, and I/O plugs such as USB plugs, HDMI plugs and DisplayPort plugs can be seen on the side and allow for easy access.
In terms of components, the computer is powered by the latest Intel Core i7 CPU, 16GB of DDR4 memory and 512GB of PCIe SSD storage which is large enough for a number of virtual reality computer games today. It also uses an NVIDIA RTX A4500 graphics card based on the NVIDIA Ampere graphics chip similar to what is used on the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3000 series of graphics cards.
ZOTAC also says that this ZOTAC VR GO 4.0 computer can support a large number of virtual reality headsets, augmented reality and modern mixes directly without any problems. As a backpack, it also comes with a padded buckle and uses sweatproof material for users who want to enter the realm of virtual reality for hours.
This VR GO 4.0 computer also has a modular battery system that can be easily replaced, and each of these battery packs is seen to be usable for 50 minutes with one full charge. The computer part of this backpack is also designed to ensure that there is space between your back and also the computer part so that hot air is easier to flow out.
For now it is not yet known when ZOTAC will start selling these backpack computers.
