Access to technology is among the human rights. Technology allows information to be accessed for free and now it is considered necessary because everything can be done online. AbacusBasic is a computer that wants to democratize technology with it being sold at a price of £ 120 (~ RM645) each.
The entire AbacusBasic computer is housed in one keyboard. It comes with a 64-bit Intel Atom x5-Z8350 Cherry Trail chip, up to 8GB of 64-bit dual channel LPDDR3 memory and up to 128GB of eMMC storage. Storage can be added up to 512GB using a micro SD card.
The computer only needs to be connected to a monitor via the HDMI 2.0 port with support up to 4K. The I/O options are 1x USB-A 3.0, 2x USB-A 2.0, 3.5mm audio jack, 1x RJ45 and 1x USB-C for power source. A lighted tenkeyless keyboard is included along with a built -in touchpad on the right side. The operating system used is Windows 10.
