Asia Pacific Predator League 2022 Grand Final Held, Prizes USD 400 thousand

 


Acer held the Grand Final of the Asia Pacific Predator League 2022 which was held offline in Tokyo, Japan on November 11-13, 2022.

Eligible esports teams in 15 countries and regions will participate in the grand final with a total prize of USD 400 thousand . This offline event can be held again after two years of lockdown and travel restrictions due to the pandemic.


"After two years of lockdown and travel restrictions, we are excited to meet the best esports team in Asia-Pacific in person," said Andrew Hou, President of Acer Pan Asia Pacific Regional Operations, in a statement received by us.



Carrying the theme "Become One" in Predator League 2022, Acer wants to reconnect with gamers and demonstrate our company's commitment to the gaming community," he added.


This year, the competition will be divided into two tournaments: Dota 2 and PUBG: Battlegrounds. The total prize money for the qualifiers and winners of the two tournaments is USD 400,000 or approximately IDR 6 billion; winners of each tournament will also be awarded the APAC Predator League Shield trophy and various Predator game products from Acer.


Interesting stories from each of the teams that represented their country, will be presented to show the intrigue that occurred in preparing for the thrilling tournament that has returned live.


The last Acer Asia Pacific Predator League was held in 2020, the final round of Indonesia at that time was held on January 17-19 2020. At that time the grand final was held in Manila, Philippines, in February 2020.


At that event, Acer facilitated scholarships for winners from Indonesia for ranks 1 to 4. At that time, Acer hoped that the Predator League could also open up the path of professional choice to prepare for a better future.
