Astro now shares say the Astro Go service has around 919,000 monthly active users, each of whom watch an average of 244 minutes per week.
The CEO of Astro stressed that although their linear TV viewership numbers are declining, but users are switching to other viewing platforms under Astro, such as in the form of VOD and also Astro Go. Indirectly, people still spend a high amount of time on the Astro platform every week.
Speaking of on their own tv channel, Astro now has around 11.3 million viewers per day, where on average they spend 187 minutes watching the Astro channel.
Astro has recently introduced their advertising platform that can be optimized by audience type and demographic group through their advertising and broadcasting technology, making them the first in the Southeast Asian region to do just that.
