Attention! This Xiaomi cellphone can no longer get the MIUI 13 update


 Xiaomi has added a line of phones to its end-of-support (EOS) list. This means that the device will not receive any firmware updates, including MIUI 13.

Even Xiaomi said that it may not respond to reports of security vulnerabilities for devices included in the EOS list.


This is actually not surprising on Android devices. Usually vendors only provide security updates for at least 2 years from launch.

From the list above, the official Redmi Note 7 is quite widely used in the market. When it was launched in 2019, this cellphone was once labeled magical because it was difficult to find on the market.


Because at that time the Redmi Note 7 brought interesting specifications at a tempting price, even cheaper than China.




Redmi Note 7 offers a 6.3-inch stretch of screen covered in Gorilla Glass 5 glass. It comes with Full HD + resolution and an aspect ratio of 19.5: 9. While the dimensions are 159.2 x 75.2 x 8.1 mm and weighs 186 grams.


This cellphone is supported by the Snapdragon 660 AIE chipset with 2.2 GHz. The battery has a capacity of 4,000 mAh with the Quick Charge 4.0 feature made by Qualcomm.


There are two dual cameras on the back. The main camera carries a 48 MP Samsung ISOCELL Slim GM1 sensor with an f/1.8 aperture. Both cameras use the Samsung S5K5E8 sensor. The size is 5 MP with an aperture of f/2.2.



Turning to the front of the Redmi Note 7, there is a 13 MP camera with an f/2.0 aperture. Xiaomi also added two cameras with AI portrait features, AI scene detection and AI beautify.


When released Redmi Note 7 . This cellphone is no longer sold in the market, Xiaomi is now offering the Redmi Note 11 in its stores.
